Use the onboarding checklist to start your project
Learn how to open and use the onboarding checklist to complete key getting-started tasks and track your onboarding progress within a project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open a project to view the onboarding checklist
Navigate to any project in the application; when onboarding is active and the checklist is open, a “Getting Started” checklist panel appears fixed near the corner of your screen, showing your current completion percentage and available tasks.

Step 2: Review your onboarding progress
Look at the “Getting Started” header in the checklist to see the percentage complete, which updates as you finish tasks and helps you understand how far through the onboarding process you are.

Step 3: Start the next recommended task
Find the next task suggested in the checklist and click it; for standard tasks with a route, you are taken to the relevant area within the current project so you can complete that part of onboarding.

Step 4: Take the sidebar tour (if available)
If you see a task such as “Take sidebar tour”, click it to close the checklist and immediately start an in-app sidebar guide, which walks you through key navigation areas.

Step 5: Continue working through tasks from the checklist
After completing each onboarding action, return to the checklist (if it reopens) and select the next task, using the updated percentage to track your progress until onboarding is complete.

Step 6: Close the checklist when you no longer need it
Use the close control on the checklist header to hide the panel once you are done with onboarding tasks or no longer need on-screen guidance.
