Set up your first project when you sign in
The first time you sign in with no projects yet, PlanOps walks you through setting one up. This gets your job on the system so you can start tracking it straight away.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: The setup screen opens on its own
When you sign in and don't have any projects yet, PlanOps shows you a setup screen automatically. There's nothing to click to get here, it's just ready and waiting for you.

Step 2: Give your project a name
Type in a name that makes the project easy to spot later, like the site address or job number. Something clear beats something clever.

Step 3: Check the project stage
This is set to Construction and can't be changed here. Just check it says Construction so you know you're setting up the right kind of project.

Step 4: Optional - ask to be told about other stages
If your work covers Pre-construction, Design, or Handover, use the Notify me links next to those options. This puts your name down so PlanOps can tell you when those stages are ready to use.

Step 5: Create your project
Select Create project. You'll see a short loading spinner while it's set up, then you're taken straight into your new project, ready to use.

Step 6: Or try a sample project instead
Not ready to set up your own project yet? Choose Try a sample project to open an example that's already filled in, so you can have a look round before committing to anything.

Step 7: If something goes wrong
If the project doesn't get created, read the message on screen, it'll tell you what to fix. Sort it out, then select Create project again.
