Set up your first project

Use the first-run onboarding modal to create your first construction project or explore a sample project.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the first-run onboarding modal

When you sign in for the first time with no existing projects, the onboarding modal opens automatically and cannot be dismissed until you either create a project or try a sample project.

Step 2: Confirm the project stage

Review the project stage selector on the left; Construction is preselected and required, while other stages show as "Coming soon" with an option to register your interest.

Step 3: Enter your project name

In the project setup form, type a clear name for your new construction project so it is easy for your team to recognise later.

Step 4: Choose your delivery role

Select the project delivery role that best matches how your organisation will use the workspace, using the navigation preview on the right to understand what each role configures.

Step 5: Ask to be notified about other stages (optional)

If you want to work in Pre-construction, Design, or Handover, use the inline "Notify me" form beside each disabled stage to submit your interest and join the stage waitlist.

Step 6: Create your construction project

Select "Create project" to submit the form; the system creates your construction project and takes you into the new workspace once processing is complete.

Step 7: Try a sample project instead (optional)

If you are not ready to create a real project, select "Try a sample project" to load a preconfigured example you can explore safely without affecting live data.

Step 8: Review any error messages

If project creation fails, check the error message displayed in the modal, adjust your inputs if needed, and submit the form again.
