Review and use the project setup prompt banner

Use the animated project setup banner to see your personalised greeting, understand your current onboarding status, and jump directly into the next setup action or dismiss the prompt if it is not needed.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Notice your personalised greeting and setup prompt

When you open the project area, look for the animated banner at the top of the page showing a greeting based on the time of day (for example, “Good morning”) alongside a short message highlighting your current project setup status and suggested next action.

Read the text and icon within the banner that describe the next onboarding action (such as uploading key project documents, reviewing a checklist, or launching your workspace) so you understand what will happen if you continue.

Step 3: Open more details about the setup step

If an expand or more-details indicator is available (for example, a downward chevron on the banner), select it to reveal any additional information about the current setup step, including what is required and how it affects your project.

Step 4: Start the suggested setup action

Select the primary action button on the banner (for example, “Continue setup”, “Upload files”, or “View checklist”) to navigate directly to the corresponding onboarding screen where you can complete that part of the project setup.

Step 5: Dismiss the banner if you do not need it

If you do not want to see the banner, select the close (X) icon on the right-hand side; the banner will smoothly fade and slide away, giving you more space to focus on the rest of the project page.
