Use AI assist to set up packages and trades

Use the AI assist panel to identify packages and trades from your documents and start setting up your project automatically.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the packages area with no packages yet​

Navigate to the packages section of your project; when there are no packages yet, the empty state shows an AI assist panel offering to identify packages and trades for you.

Step 2: Review the AI assist details and IU cost​

Read the AI assist title, description and reassurance message explaining that you can review and approve packages after they are created, and check the IU estimate badge and Early access label if shown.

Step 3: Launch AI assist to set up your packages​

Select the "Set up my packages using PlanOps" button to start the AI workflow that reads your documents and creates a package per trade.

Step 4: Choose manual setup if you prefer​

If you do not want to use AI assist, select the "Add a package manually" button, which appears as a secondary outline action when AI assist is available.
