Understand empty state panels and AI assist options
Learn what the State Display panel shows in empty sections and how AI-assisted options can help you populate missing information.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Recognise the empty state panel
When a section has no data yet, you will see a centred panel with an illustration, title, and short description explaining what belongs in that area.

Step 2: Review the AI assist heading and description
In supported sections, an AI assist panel appears beneath the description, clearly naming the task it can run for you and summarising what it will do.

Step 3: Check IU cost and Early Access badges
Before using AI assist, review the IU cost badge and any Early Access label displayed next to the task title so you understand usage impact and feature status.

Step 4: Understand readiness steps for the AI task
If shown, use the ordered list of readiness steps to see which prerequisites are already satisfied and which still need completing before the AI task can run.

Step 5: Choose or trigger an AI assist action
Use the main call-to-action button or any available workspace tiles to launch the AI task that will gather or generate the missing data for the section.
