View tabular data in a report
View structured tabular data within a report, including headers and body rows, with clear formatting and error handling for invalid data.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the report containing tabular data
Navigate to the report or shared report page that includes a tabular data section; the application automatically loads and prepares the table content from the stored data.

Step 2: Review the table headers
At the top of the table, review the header row, where each header cell (such as "Element" and "Status") is visually highlighted to distinguish it from normal data rows.

Step 3: Check the data rows
Look through each data row beneath the headers to confirm that every cell is visible and correctly aligned under the appropriate header.

Step 4: Identify header versus body styling
Confirm that header cells use a tinted background and bold text, while the body cells appear with plain styling so you can quickly distinguish labels from data.

Step 5: Recognise the error message for invalid data
If the underlying content cannot be read as valid tabular data, the table is replaced by an "Error displaying tabular data" message so you know the data source needs attention.

Step 6: Understand how empty tables are shown
When the tabular data source is empty, an empty table structure appears without any rows, indicating that no items have been entered yet.
