Filter the feed by severity and date range

Use the filter bar to refine the feed so you only see items with specific severities and within a chosen date range.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the feed with the filter bar

Navigate to the feed view (such as plant defects or TW permits) where the filter bar appears above the list of items, showing groups like "Severity" and "Range".

Step 2: Review current severity and date range selections

Check which chips are currently active under "Severity" and "Range"; active chips appear pressed, while inactive ones are not pressed.

Step 3: Adjust severity filters using multi-select chips

Click one or more severity chips (for example "High" or "Low") to toggle them on or off; the feed will update to reflect only items matching the selected severities.

Step 4: Turn all severities off to see the full range

If you click to turn every severity chip off, the feed treats this as "show all severities", so the list will include items of every severity.

Step 5: Choose a single date range tab

Under "Range", click one date range chip (such as "Today" or "7 days"); only one range can be active at a time, and the feed updates to show items from that period.

Step 6: Avoid unnecessary refresh by not re-clicking the active range

Re-clicking the currently active date range chip does nothing and does not refresh the feed, helping to avoid unnecessary loading.
