Sign up and launch your first assistant task
Register for the workspace and go straight to the assistant task you wanted to start, with your marketing and tracking details preserved.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the sign-up page from a project link
Follow a sign-up link from the homepage, marketing site, or a shared task invitation. The split-screen sign-up opens, with the product story on the left and the registration panel on the right.

Step 2: Review how the assistant workflow operates
On the left-hand side, read the four-step explanation of how PlanOps picks the right assistant, runs the workflow, and returns your finished document, so you know what will happen after sign-up.

Step 3: Confirm what you want to achieve
If you arrived from a deep link, such as a button to create a specific report or document, your intent is stored in the background so you can continue straight to that task once you have registered.

Step 4: Complete your account registration
Use the registration panel to create your account with Clerk. As you progress, basic validation is tracked so that any issues with your details can be resolved quickly.

Step 5: Return as an authenticated user
After confirming your email or completing any required verification, return to the sign-up route. The system recognises your active session and automatically switches you to the authenticated flow.

Step 6: Let PlanOps resolve your task intent
The app securely sends your stored intent to the backend resolver, which decides which assistant task to launch based on what you originally asked to do.

Step 7: Review the confirmation and proceed
See a confirmation screen explaining which task will run. From here you can confirm and continue, taking your UTM and attribution data through to the final destination.

Step 8: Start working on your finished document
You are routed directly into the launched assistant task, where the workflow begins and you can provide any final details needed to generate your finished document.
