Link a related lifecycle item

Use the lifecycle item picker to search for and link an existing workspace item, so references stay consistent and easy to trace.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the lifecycle item picker​

In the form section where you see the "Linked item" field, select the field to open the lifecycle item picker popover.

Step 2: Search for a lifecycle item​

Begin typing the reference or title of the item you want to link; the picker searches across the relevant lifecycle codes and shows matching results.

Step 3: Choose the correct item from the results​

Review the list of matching items and select the one you want to link so it appears as a chip showing its reference and title.

Step 4: Confirm the linked item in your record​

Check that the selected chip now appears in the "Linked item" field, confirming the workspace item is correctly associated with your record.
