Manage work packages from the Packages list
Use the Packages list to search, filter and open work packages, generate registers, assign contractors in bulk, and create RAMS across multiple packages.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Packages list
From the sidebar, select "Packages" to open the Packages list page for your project. The page loads all managed work packages with their current completion status.
Step 2: Search for a work package
Use the search box at the top of the list to find a package by reference, title or contractor name. Results update as you type so you can quickly locate the right package.
Step 3: Filter packages by stage, type, zone, contractor or risk
Use the filter controls and chips to narrow the list by stage, package type, zone, installing contractor, or risk profile. Clear or adjust filters to change the visible set of packages.
Step 4: Review package completion and details
Scan the list rows to see key details such as title, contractor and completion indicators. Use the completion signals to prioritise which packages need attention.
Step 5: Open a package workspace
Select a row in the table to open that package's workspace item detail page. From there you can review and manage all information related to the selected package.
Step 6: Generate a package register
Use the register generation button to create a register of the currently listed packages. This uses the same filters and search criteria that are applied to the page.
Step 7: Bulk assign installing contractors
Open the bulk assign contractor dialog to select multiple packages and assign or update their installing contractor in one action. Confirm your changes to apply them across all selected packages.
Step 8: Bulk create RAMS for multiple packages
Use the bulk RAMS creation option to generate RAMS records across several packages at once. Review the summary and confirm to create all RAMS entries in a single operation.
Step 9: Use AI assist to create packages from project documents
Run the agent assist task "Packages and trades assessment" to scan project documents and automatically propose or create work packages based on the content.
Step 10: Mark packages as favourites
Use the favourite button on a package row to add it to your favourites list, making it easier to return to frequently managed packages.
Step 11: Handle empty or loading states
When there are no packages yet, follow the on-screen guidance in the empty state to get started. During loading, wait for the spinner to complete before applying filters or actions.
