Assign a contractor to multiple packages

Assign or clear a contractor across several selected packages in one action using the bulk Assign contractor dialog.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the Assign contractor dialog​

From the packages list, select all relevant packages and choose the option to assign a contractor, which opens the Assign contractor dialog showing how many packages will be updated.

Step 2: Choose the installing contractor organisation​

In the organisation picker, search for and select the subcontractor who will install the selected packages; the chosen organisation appears as the current contractor for the batch.

Step 3: Clear an existing contractor (optional)​

If the selected packages already have a contractor and you want to remove them, use the clear contractor control so that the dialog shows no organisation selected for installation.

Step 4: Confirm the bulk assignment​

Review the selected contractor and number of affected packages, then confirm the action to apply the contractor (or clear it) across all selected packages in a single update.

Step 5: Review and retry after any errors​

If the update partially fails or is rejected, read the error banner shown inside the dialog, adjust your selection or contractor if needed, and retry the action without losing your previous choices.
