Manage project insights

Use project insights to track, assign, prioritise, and close issues or opportunities within a project.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the Project Insights section​

Navigate to the project and open the Insights section to view all current insights for that project.

Step 2: Filter and refine the insights list​

Use the filters and filter badges to narrow insights by status, category, assignee, priority, or AI-generated insights.

Step 3: Create a new insight​

Select the option to add a new insight, then complete the form with title, description, category, priority, and assignee before saving.

Step 4: View and edit insight details​

Open an insight to view full details, then update fields such as status, assignee, context items, or linked documents and tasks.

Step 5: Assign or reassign an insight​

Change the assignee of an insight using the assignment control; the default suggestion is the project lead or project admin where available.

Step 6: Snooze an insight​

Use the snooze option on an open insight to hide it until a chosen future date, after which it will reappear automatically.

Step 7: Dismiss an insight​

Dismiss an insight you consider not actionable by providing a dismissal reason in the dismissal modal.

Step 8: Close or resolve an insight​

Use the close dialog to mark an insight as resolved or closed, moving it from the open list into the Closed lane.

Step 9: Reopen a closed insight​

From the Closed lane, choose to reopen a resolved, dismissed, or closed insight so it returns to the active list.

Step 10: Archive and unarchive insights​

Use the archive controls to hide completed or irrelevant insights, and toggle archived visibility to unarchive them when needed.

Open the document picker to attach relevant documents or tasks to an insight so that recommended actions are easy to access.

Step 12: Enable or disable AI-generated insights​

Use the AI insights toggle to control whether automatically generated AI insights appear alongside manually created ones.
