Start your first project and upload initial documents

Learn what you can do when there are no projects or documents yet, and how to use the prompts on these screens to begin working in PlanOps.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: View the empty projects screen

When you sign in and have no projects yet, PlanOps shows a “Ready to build something?” screen with a visual blueprint illustration, explaining that you can create your first project to get started.

Step 2: Create your first project from the empty state

On the empty projects screen, select the “Create your first project” button to open the project creation flow and begin setting up your initial project in PlanOps.

Step 3: View the empty documents screen

When you open a project area or documents section that has no files yet, PlanOps shows a “No documents yet” message with an illustration of an empty document tray, prompting you to upload or create your first document.

Step 4: Upload your first document from the empty state

From the empty documents screen, use the “Upload your first document” button to start the upload process and add your first file to the project.
