Understand empty project and document screens

Learn what you can do when you see the empty projects or empty documents screens, and how to start creating content in PlanOps.

Steps

Step 1: Recognise the empty projects screen

When you first sign in and have no projects, PlanOps shows a “Ready to build something?” screen with an illustration and a button to create your first project; use this as your starting point for setting up work in the system.

Step 2: Create your first project from the empty state

Select the “Create your first project” button on the empty projects screen to open the project creation flow, where you can define your initial project and begin adding details.

Step 3: Recognise the empty documents screen

When a project or area has no documents yet, PlanOps shows a “No documents yet” screen with an illustration and guidance that you can upload or create your first document.

Step 4: Upload your first document from the empty state

Select the “Upload your first document” button on the empty documents screen to open the document upload flow, allowing you to add key files so your team can reference and collaborate on them.
