Manage reports, documents and templates
View and manage project reports, generated documents and document templates, and open detailed views or editors for individual items.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Reports area
From your project, open the Reports section to see the available tabs for Documents, Manual Reports and Templates, along with filters and table views for each type.

Step 2: Review generated documents
Select the Documents tab to view all virtual documents for the project, including their type, status, version and generated date, and scroll or page through the table as needed.

Step 3: Sort and filter documents
Use the column sort controls and any available filters to reorder the document list by title, document type, status, generation date or version so you can quickly find the document you need.

Step 4: View a document in detail
Click a document row to open its detailed view or preview panel, where you can inspect its contents and metadata without leaving the Reports area.

Step 5: Update document status
Use the status control on an individual document to update its status (for example, marking it as current or archived) so that the rest of the team can see its latest state.

Step 6: Work with manual reports
Switch to the Manual Reports area to see manually created reports, sort them by title, category, format, updated date or owner, and open a report in the detailed view or editor when required.

Step 7: Open and edit a report
Select a manual report from the list to open it in the Report Detail or Report Editor view, where you can review its data, make changes and save the updated version.

Step 8: Browse and filter templates
Go to the Templates tab to see all available document templates, filter them by type or status, and sort the list to identify the most relevant templates for your project.

Step 9: Create a new document template
Click the button to create a new template, opening the Template Composer dialog where you can define the template type, content and any custom fields before saving it for team use.

Step 10: Generate a document from a template
From either the Documents or Templates view, start the document generation flow to open the Generate Document dialog, choose a template, confirm options and produce a new virtual document for the project.
