Review and update task details
Use the task detail panel to review task information, update its status and priority, and collaborate with your team via comments.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the task detail panel
Select a task from the task list to open the detail panel, which appears on the side of the screen showing the task’s title, status, priority and key metadata.

Step 2: Review core task information
In the Details view, check the task status, priority, assignee, due date and any tags to understand what needs to be done and by when.

Step 3: Update the task status
Use the status controls in the panel to change the task status (for example from Pending to In Progress or Completed); your changes are saved and visible to the team once the update finishes.

Step 4: Adjust task priority
If required, update the task priority (Low, Medium, High or Urgent) so that the team can focus on the most important work first.

Step 5: View and add comments
Switch to the Comments view, review existing comments, and type a new message in the comment box; select the send option to post your comment for the team.

Step 6: Edit or delete existing comments
For comments you own, use the comment actions menu to edit the text or delete the comment; the panel updates immediately to show your changes.

Step 7: Review task history
Open the History view to see a timeline of updates such as status changes and other key events, helping you understand how the task has progressed.

Step 8: Resize or close the panel
Use the resize control to expand or minimise the panel width as needed, and select the close icon when you have finished reviewing or updating the task.
