Connect SharePoint and put your documents to work

Your drawings, specs and reports already live in SharePoint. Connect it once and PlanOps keeps them in step — then reads them, so the project intelligence comes to you instead of you going hunting for it.

Goal

A live SharePoint connection feeding your project, with AI review running over the documents already in it.

What you walk away with

SharePoint connected at organisation level, the right library or folder linked to your project, documents syncing on a schedule you chose, and the assistant already reviewing what came across — no migration, no duplicate filing.

Time: ~30 minutes · Level: intermediate · Steps: 2

Set up once per project

Do these the first time only. If your project is already set up, skip straight to the steps.

Connect SharePoint to your organisation

Register an app in Microsoft Entra ID, grant it least-privilege access to the site you want to read, and enter the credentials in PlanOps. Your documents stay where they are — PlanOps reads them, it doesn't move them.

Browse the site, pick the document library or folder that belongs to this job, and map it to the project. Only what you link comes across, so a shared tenant doesn't turn into a shared mess.

Decide how much history to pull in, and how often

Choose the sync mode and frequency that suit the project - a full back catalogue for a live job mid-flight, or new documents only from today. The IU cost is shown before you commit.

Confirm documents are actually flowing

Check the connection status against the project so you know the sync is healthy and current before you rely on it - and can spot a lapsed secret or a permissions gap early.

Steps

Steps marked ⚡ AI task are done for you by a PlanOps AI assistant, run from the Assistant Hub on your project home.

Step 1: Let PlanOps read what just arrived ⚡ AI task

This is the payoff. Point the assistant at the synced documents and it explains what each one is, what changed and what it means for the project - turning a folder you had to open one file at a time into something that briefs you.

Run on demand from the Assistant Hub.
